HOW TO BECOME A QME
1. Preparation Class
Train to pass the QME exam
2. Complete a 12 hour writing course
Complete a 12-hour QME report writing course from an approved DWC education provider. Mandatory sample report submission
3. Pass the Exam
Pass the QME Competency Exam offered by the Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC).
This exam is given twice per year (April and October).
